Daniel Peptenatu is a Ph.D. professor at the University of Bucharest, dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies. He founded the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Studies within which he coordinated numerous fundamental and applied research projects. Among the most important projects is the use of spatial data in the development of public health policies.

Vincenzo Della Mea is an associate professor of Information Processing Systems. His research interests focus on medical informatics, particularly digital pathology, biomedical classifications and ontologies, and the application of machine learning to medicine. In addition to his academic work, he has published several poetry collections, including “L’infanzia di Gödel” (La Barca di Babele, 1999), “Algoritmi” (Lietocolle, 2004 – Nelle terre dei Pallavicino Prize 2005), “I sogni della guerra” (Circolo Culturale Menocchio, 2008), and “Storie Naturali” (Raffaelli Editore, 2016). In 2023, he released “Clone 2.0” (Pordenone).
