Call for abstracts

Proceeding

The proceedings of jRoMedInf 2026 will be published by Applied Medical Informatics Journal (Appl Med Inform) in special series in jRoMedInf 2026, and will be distributed online at the conference date.

Abstract & Poster preparation & submission

All submissions must contain original research results and should not have been submitted or published elsewhere. There are two categories of submissions:

  1. Oral presentation – system descriptions, observational or experimental studies describing software prototypes, results of simulations, or experimental data analysis, with a link to the reported results, ongoing work, preliminary results and/or research challenges of young researchers.
  2. Poster presentation – system descriptions, pilot or feasibility studies describing software prototypes, results of simulations, or experimental data analysis, with a link to the reported results, ongoing work, preliminary results and/or research challenges of young researchers.

Submission

  • Language: English
  • Format: structured (background, methods, results, +/- conclusions)
  • Length: maximum 300 words including spaces
  • The abstract must be presented at the conference.
  • It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that their abstract/ poster does not contain any errors.
  • Proofs will not be sent to authors at any time during production.
  • If the above conditions are not adhered to, the abstract will not be published in Applied Medical Informatics Journal (Appl Med Inform).
  • Also please inform us on the following email romedinf@srimed.ro if you don’t want your abstract to be published in the proceeding.

Submission conditions

  • For the task of writing of submitted abstract, the above rules are very clear.
  • The authors should indicate if there were any AI tools involved in the abstract preparation. While this is a mandatory field in the abstract submission, the information provided here might help to better assign the PC member for evaluation of your research. If the authors used AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for proofreading or for refining selected portions of the text, it is mandatory to acknowledge this use. 
  • All oral and poster papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the fee.
  • By submitting an abstract for the conference authors undertake that, if the paper is accepted, they will pay the fee, attend the conference, and present the paper.
  • By submitting an abstract you also indicate that you accept the jRoMedInf Terms and Conditions, available here, and that you agree to abide by them.
